I have been bringing my pets to the Blue Cross Animal Hospital for over 40 years. I have never been disappointed with the service's that Blue Cross Animal Hospital and Dr Littlejohn and his stuff have given me or my fur babies they are the most amazing and caring people. They have the biggest hearts and I can't THANK YOU them enough for all their help with looking after My Fur Babies. Thank You Gail Vandegroep

I adopted a dog. It turns out that although he showed no signs of this in the shelter he had terrible separation anxiety. I was truly at my wits end about what to do with the dog; both to help him and to save my house. Dr. Littlejohn and his staff answered all of my calls and questions with patience and understanding. I could tell they really cared about our situation. We had lengthy discussions about treatment options and I was an integral part of the decision. I am happy to say my dog is 100 times better and I am 10 times calmer, I have Dr. Littlejohn and his staff to thank for that.

and unfortunately we have to have the dog put to sleep.

Dr. Lam is not the usual vet I was told, but she did an amazing job in keeping contact with us when our cat was staying there overnight due to sickness. Dr. Lam and all the staff were so friendly, caring and compassionate when we brought in our cat, Chow. We ended up having to make the decision to put our fur baby to sleep due to an illness. Dr. Lam wasted no time getting him on an I.V. and getting blood work done. She did everything in her power to help Chow and we could not have been more grateful. The staff were so friendly and kind when you walk into this clinic you feel welcome and not like your in an animal hospital. I commend Dr. Lam and the staff at Blue Cross Animal Hospital for putting their time and effort into making animals lives healthy and happy. Dr. Lam even personally brought my cats collar to me when I was picking up his things and I was given a card that was hand written by the staff and vet. I highly recommend this clinic.

Dr. Littlejohn is gentle, genuine, and caring. He is understanding about family situations and does everything he can to alleviate the burden of giving your pet the best care possible. Information is shared openly and with no pressure so you can be an active participant in the decision making. All his staff is friendly and supportive. I can't say enough about the excellent care we have received from eveyone at the Blue Cross Animal Hospital.

Dr. Littlejohn has helped me and my sick dog over the years and has been absolutely fantastic. He has been patient and understanding, weighed different treatment options with me, and has called me on his spare time to check up on my dog and how treatment was going. He has gone far beyond what is expected of him. I recommend him to anyone I care about. And since my dogs love him I can not suggest a better vet.

This is the best veterinary practice in Edmonton. The girls upfront are so genuine and supportive. They excel at their duties, and always like to visit with your pet. Dr. Littlejohn has personally gone above and beyond for my pet and I countless times during a very difficult period. If you're looking for a long term doctor who actually cares about you, and will go miles out of their way to take care of your pet then this is the place.

Dr. Littlejohn is the best vet anyone could ask for in regards to your pets. He cares and he shows it. Front end girls that I have dealt with are very friendly and helpful. I live across town and would not take my cat anywhere but here. I have found them very accommadating. Dr. Littlejohn doesn't push any treatments that are not needed.

This is a great clinic for regular veterinary care of your animals and I have taken my cats there for years. However, when my cat recently developed acute respiratory distress I was told to wait until Friday (5 days away) or take her the emergency vet (which I did). For regular care, however, Dr. Littlejohn and his staff provide excellent, reasonably priced and sensible care for small animals.

When I had to put my old dog down, Blue Cross was as helpful and understanding as anyone could ask. They tried so hard to make a difficult day bearable and as easy as they could. (Still was a tough day). I have a new dog and will be making my first appointment next week without any hesitation. I actually used to use Blue Cross almost twenty two years ago before I moved to BC. Great place to take your pet.

Dr. Littlejohn is a very kind and caring vet and I have no complaints at all in regards to the way he handles any situation that comes in front of him. However when my dog was attacked on October 13th 2010 and I called for an appointment the next morning the front end staff told me that they couldn't make room until the following Thursday for my dog! That's 8 days my dog would have had to wait for stitches! I decided to try my luck with a new vet just outside Edmonton who made room for my dog and treated me very well. This clinic is great for yearly check-ups but if you have an emergency then you probably will be turned away.

I have two cats and a dog. I have been very pleased with the care that they have received at the clinic. I also really enjoy the staff. They are very personable and great with the animals.

We have used this clinic for over 30 years. All of our pets have flowed through this clinic. We have always had superior service from all owners and staff members. I am especially impressed with follow-up phone calls to my home regarding my pet.

After spending hundreds of dollars I could not afford at the emergency clinic downtown, I took my cat for a follow-up at the Blue Cross clinic. The two doctors, and the front desk staff, that I dealt with were kind, sensitive and supportive. They gave me plenty of information so I could make the best choices for my cat--and my finances--by recommending only the most necessary tests, medications, etc.

I am sticking with this clinic from now on!
