Flying Duchess Professional Pet Sitters of Toronto

I normally call upon friends to care for my cats when I'm out of town, but over Christmas, everyone is tied up and out of town so I was stuck. I called my vet and asked for some names of cat sitters, and the Flying Duchess sitters came highly recommended from the vet.

When I first called in, the person who answered the phone seemed very knowledgeable and experienced with cats. She was eating lunch but still took the time to talk to me and called me back when she said she would, This is impresssive, because a lot of people forget, she asked all the right questions and explained the process very clearly.
Later the sitter came over at the scheduled date and got the keys and was very nice and seemed to really know what she was talking about, and the cats warmed up to her quickly.

She watched them over Christmas and they were both happy. I got daily email reports and some pics about how it was going. I appreciated that. I like that you can reach them at any time and I have always gotten a repose within a few mins. of contacting them during after hours. And if you are a "fan" of Flying Duchess on facebook, you can tell that their clients really love and trust the sitters.

I think the prices are very reasonable too. It is no more expensive than boarding, and better for the cat. I think that CITC is cheaper that many other pet sitters, and you know that the person you meet is the person coming into your home. I was opposed to a larger company where it could be someone different each day, or someone I had never met.

I would recommend Flying Duchess to everyone I know, and definately use them again!

Read the reviews of this sitter and decided to go with them. I went on vacation and ended up coming home early. The house was a mess, the food dish was empty etc. I waited for the pet sitter the next day and their excuse was they were going to come in early to clean up and there was plenty of food before, they don't know what happened to it all (water as well). If you use this service, come home early to see the smoke and mirror game they play.

What great service! Not only did I feel completely at ease leaving my very finnicky baby in the hands of these petsitters, but getting the daily reports was an added bonus. Kudos!
