Le Chateau, Regina Reviews (3)
I recently went into a store in Regina, looking for a great pair of boots. I found what I thought was them. I took them home and tried them on again and they didn't fit quite right. I went to the store to return them and was told that they don't do refunds only exchange or credit. A $200.00 pair of boots and I can't return if they aren't right. No one at the store told me that this was their policy before I purchesed them. VERY POOR service
While the clothing carried by Le Chateau is beautiful and stylish, to say the least, fashionable and of fine quality the attitudes of the workers at this clothing outlet don't match those standards.
While it's understandable that some articles of clothing cannot be stocked for people of a larger size, the fact that they're treated so negatively because of that isn't acceptable. The employees at Le Chateau work in what is, basically, a service industry and as such they should expect to work around people and, of course, should treat those people respectively.
A full figured, "larger" women isn't going to be a blundering dunce and if there is nothing that fits them then they'll figure that out. To tell them, however, that they're going to have to leave because of their size is nothing short of appalling.
These women deserve to be treated like human beings, no slabs of walking meat. I assure you, if your concern is attracting the "wrong crowd" (which is disgusting, mind you) you'll be getting attention A LOT worse if you continue to discriminate towards other people.
Get your act together. I'd love to see staff as wonderful as the clothing.
- A concerned citizen with a beef against discrimination.

I know a woman who tried to purchase a shirt for her best friend at a le Chateau store in Regina. She had a brain tumour that caused her to gain a lot of weight and caused her a lot of distress. Upon entering the store, she was told that she should leave because there was nothing her size there. The speaker of this remark was decently rude about it, and so my friend decided to ask to speak to someone higher on the food chain than a cashier. She was the highest person on said foodchain. This store has a lot of nice clothing, but the sizes are ridiculous and discriminatory towards full figured, beautiful women.
