If you love or even value your pet, you will stay FAR away from this place. The staff here know nothing about veterinary medicine and will experiment on your pet until they either die or go into serious organ failure. Upon purchasing a puppy she was taken to this clinic as it was mistakenly selected to be the go-to vet for her. Upon the first visit for a complete puppy checkup, the findings came back that she was healthy and had no issue or heart murmurs. The vet didn’t even bother to offer to do any blood work or any X-rays. Fast forward to the next appointment a month after, on the Tuesday, which was for DHPP booster shots only, they gave her it as well as an extra “recommended” Bordetella vaccine to which we never requested or wanted. The next day she began throwing up and defecating diarrhea and sleeping all day. This is a puppy that was completely happy and playful, eating well and having very good stools. We took her back here, to which they held her for two days pumping fluids into her and giving her other drugs. Each time she came out of there she was progressively worse and worse and they gave absolutely no answers other than to “come back again tomorrow”. On the following Saturday, which was the weekend of the Thanksgiving long weekend, they sent her home with more drugs and said to come back on Tuesday when they re-open. At this point she was having trouble breathing and it was clear that she is not just having a vaccine reaction. This office never even bothered to refer her to somewhere that can do afterhours or long weekend care in case something happened, they just wanted to add up the invoice. Keep in mind we are now $700 into an issue that arose after they vaccinated her. Not once was blood work or X-ray scans offered. Not once. We decided to take her to the afterhours emergency vet immediately following as she evidently wouldn’t make it through the night, and $2100 later at the emergency hospital it turned out her lungs were filled with fluid from the IV fluids given and her kidneys failed. They also confirmed a heart murmur, one that was not reported at her initial checkup. They also confirmed in their report that there was negligence and lack of due diligence on the vets part in entirety. She went into complete acute renal failure. We had to put her down at midnight on the Saturday. Today is Tuesday, which is the day they were expecting us to bring her in. Guess what, they DIDN'T EVEN CALL TODAY! Stay away from this joke of a “veterinary clinic”. They don’t even let you step into their office so that you don’t see what’s going on. They do consults over the phone and you can hear dogs screaming in the background. Don’t be fooled by the other reviews because almost every client standing outside is always upset at some negligence of theirs. I even overheard that they gave another dog the wrong medications for 2 weeks.

Outstanding care for both our Lakeland Terriers for over 32 years we have been clients and we highly recommend the practice. We recently had to euthanize our Lakeland and both Dr. White and Sue went above and beyond in their handling of the situation and made Sydney and us comfortable throughout the procedure.

I have been taking my pets to Renforth for over 15 years and have found staff unfailingly knowledgeable and caring. They have always gone above and beyond what I have encountered anywhere else.
I have never found staff to be anything but kind and considerate.
I will recommend Renforth without hesitation

We'd been members of renforth vet clinic for the past 12 years. Recently I had an experience where we were very rudely treated by someone who answered the phone and hung up on.

We got a new puppy who was ill and spent several hundreds of dollars at this clinic and at the emergency vet . I called our vet as the drug given by the emerg wasn't their number one choice as they have limited drugs and to see if there was another choice Unfortunately, when I called our vet when home ill. The technician told us that the other doctor couldn't speak to us as it wasn't her case and would have to wait until over the long weekend to speak to someone. She was rude and dismissive.

When I called back later I spoke to the same technician. I told her that I was concerned we couldn't speak to another doctor and given we were long time clients and spent a lot of money to treat the dog, did not think it was appropriate that we wait until Tuesday and another vet call us. She hung up on me while I was speaking to her. At first I thought we got cut off as there was a storm in the area and called back. The phone picked up but no one spoke. My husband has also spoken to this techician and found her to be difficult.

What she did was completely unprofessional and I've never experienced anything like it in my life. The office manager who I spoke to took the side of the employee and said she felt I was abusive which was not the case. I was stern and concerned . No apology was offered by the employee or the clinic. It's unfortunate as Dr. Daicos and Dr. Terp are great vets.

I've never been treated this way in my life nor treated any of our customers this way. I deal with people in person and on the phone all day long and deal with emergencies and difficult customers on a regular basis and can say, I've never had an interaction of this sort with a customer. And I've never known a business to condone this type of behavior nor at least question what occurred. No apology offered even to say we're sorry the incident occurred in spite of who was right or wrong. We were long time customers and have never had this interaction there nor at our previous vet Royal York Animal Hospital.

I had been taking both my dogs there for years even recommended to family and friends.. when my one dog became very ill i spend over 10,000 in six months trying to save her they knew id pay whatever to save her but at the end of the 6 months she died.then we got a new puppy because our other dog was very lonely. All off a sudden this dog has the same issues as the last one and i was quoted at over 5,000 for surgury. I decided i couldnt go threw that again wit a dog i had less then 2 months and id already spent over 1,000 on medications to try and treat his soft stools..so i gave him to the human society.. after being with them for 5 days they called me to come pick him up said he just needs a special food no surgury and they would be happy to give him back to us. So we got him back i go to vet to get special food and they told me NO THEY WOULDNT TREAT HIM ANYMORE... they were under the impression i was giving iim up. I said i did but they called me to come get him it wasnt a sever issue.. they told me i was lying and they wouldnt help.

So basically because they couldnt get more money out of me like they did my last dog they wouldnt take care of this one.. disgusting

Dr.Terp is a greedy and very cold sociopath. He wanted to vaccinate my dog to death. kept asking me to give my dog more and more vaccinations. I said no! He doesn't give a shit about your dog. MONEY MONEY is all Dr.Terp really cares about. 666 is a good number for that clinic. The number of the beast. Dr.Terp is the BEAST!!

I've been going to Renforth for 24 years. The medical care for my animals has been great . I've always been confident in them and their treatment of my 4 legged family members .. When thinking of this team what stands out is the compassion they show towards both the animals and their owners they are there all the way ... I appreciate them for all they do .... Cindy DiDomenici

Everyone seems very nice and professional. The only issue I had was one of the two medications my cat was to receive and for which I paid, I was not given and left without. I didn't realize this until I was home but someone from the clinic delivered it to me that evening, as I don't drive.

Dr. Terp and staff are caring and compassionate about their patients and clients. I have been going to them for 9 years and would not hesitate to refer them. My dog has had many challenges over the years; they have been not only helpful but available every time. Thank you

Dr. Terp and his staff are the best...so kind and caring.I have had one male cat and two cats fixed at the clinc...no problems and a very tiny incision on the female cats.
My senior cat of 19 recently passed away at the clinc with care and compassion. He had been under Dr. Terp's excellent care for chronic kidney disease for a very long time.
I will always take my pets there. Thank you Renforth Veterinarian Clinc!

I have used this clinic for 15 years and many different animals. I have always had exceptional service. Yes they are busy but they always find time to fit me in. It is a considerable amount less to pay then my local vets so I do the 40 min drive. Not just for the savings but the peace of mind that my animals will be well taken care of and that I will not be told to do unnecessary tests or exams. I feel very confidant recommending them to my friends and family.

A neighbour of mine recommeded this clinic for neutering my dog, as they are a lot cheaper then my regular clinic. I called to see how much neutering my dog would be as he has a retained testicle and my regular vet quoted about $600, over the phone the receptionist was nice and said the doctor would have to see my dog for an accurate quote, so I said okay and booked an appointment. I arrive for my appointment 10min early and I was the first appointment as they just opened for the day, the receptionist didn't greet me or say a word when I walked in. I said I was there for an appointment and she said, literally, "sit down and wait". In my head I was thinking this isn't a good first impression when I actually had every intention of switching to them for a regular vet. So I sat and waited, 10min..20min..25min... there were no appointments there, they were not busy, the phone was not ringing off the hook. I could hear the staff members sitting in the back chatting about their previous nights and what they wanted to do later that day. So they finally called me in, the doctor wasn't very friendly and basically looked at him (did not touch him at all) and said "yeah he's ok for surgery" I said excuse me, I know he's ok for surgery, he has no health problems whatsoever. I am here for a quote on the neuter. She then said "oh it will be between 300-600" And I told her thats what the receptionist said to me on the phone, but I was told I could get an actual estimate, not a range. She said she wasn't the doctor that does surgeries and that he wasn't in today... I just about flipped out. Then why the hell was my appointment booked with you?? The receptionist knew what I needed the appointment for and she screwed it up big time. No one cared, no one even acknowledged the issue. The issue is you want me to pay $50 for telling me what the receptionist told me for free on the phone! I definitely don't recommend this place whatsoever. My regular vet is richview animal hospital and they are terrific, surgery was a bit too expensive but they actually care about the owner and the animal. These people don't give a sh*t about you or your time or money!

I took my very sick cat (or so I thought) to Renforth. After examining her the doctor said that before spending money on tests she might not need, I was to change her food as she might have an allergy. Problem SOLVED! Rather than put my animal through undue stress and make money on me, they clinic put us first. What an awesome bunch.

Although the prices are low and the staff seem friendly, there seems to be a mad rush to get through as many pets as possible.

Recently when I brought my cat there, the owner (Dr. Terp) asked me if I wanted to administer the deworming medication myself later in the day and I said that was fine. I went to pay for the visit and asked for the medication, but the secretary said that he had administered it. I was in front of the cat the whole time and he definitely didn't. After some searching around the secretary found the medication in the garbage! The vet's excuse was that he had partially opened the package after asking me if I wanted to administer it myself and a vet tech must have thrown it out thinking had already been used. You would think it would be a bit more organized....

It can only make you wonder, if they make mistakes like that, what else are they making mistakes with? The other vets there seemed helpful though and willing to answer my questions and the rest of the staff looked like they really enjoy helping and taking care of animals.
