McDonald's, Barrie Reviews (4)
Being a mother of four and very busy and on the go, I used to go to Mac Donald's mainly for their dollar drinks. Oh and not to mention Marie, she is the friendliest one of the bunch! On this particular day, I drove through the drive-thru, where they have two order speakers (not really necessary it doesn't really speeds things up, only complicates things, I think)! Anyway, when I was finally able to place my order, the girl on the other side of the speaker kept asking me if this was on bills. Why, would anyone keep asking if the order was on separate bills, when all I was 'trying' to order were four meals? About ten minutes later, I finally finish giving the order and when I pulled up to the window (a very young looking girl with brown hair, dark eyes and PURE attitude) says, "Are you the one with the blah, blah, blah"? I wasn't even going to comment until she opened mouth about my orders. So, I then POLITELY asked her, does one usually keep interrupting a customer asking if each item ordered is on a separate bill? She proceeds to say, well I didn't know. Well, then I kindly reminder her that if I or anyone else wanted separate bills, don't think that, that would've been mentioned? And then I added, I suppose that you're new and still in training, I guess that Wouk make sense. :) She fires back and snidely says, "Well actually, I'm not new I've worked her for awhile"! So, then I asked her, are you now going to allow me to pay, or will this visit be complimentary? She says, "Would you like me to get you the manager"? I said, "What, I'd like to do is pay and carry-on with my day"! She says," I'll get the manager"! And then storms off. What was troubling is that when the manager came, she didn't even ask what happen. I said, "I really don't understand why she got the manager because really I just wanted to pay and then leave. Now, this SO-CALLED manager says, "good, shoves the interac machine at me, while she tells ME that I didn't need to speak to the other girl in the tone that I did, and actually now she's quite upset and went home! (Haha! Went home?! For what reason?) I then told the "manager" (whom by-the-way, she is average height, at little on the heavy side, dark brown hair and does a hideous job on her makeup-too much, if you ask me, for a restaurant)! If, she isn't able to handle the customers then perhaps she shouldn't be working around people that she go clean the washrooms. Never went back because, the owner, he doesn't seem to mind that he has rude employees. Oh, he also owns the Mac Donald's in Bradford, on Holland Street. Maybe that explains the service there too!
The service was awful & the staff RUDE!!!On top of all that the food I ordered was COLD!!!What a waste.
McDonalds you need to pull up your game!!!!!!
McDonalds you need to pull up your game!!!!!!
worst service, always get the order wrong and rude staff. when at a mcdonalds, i don't care to overhear stories of how drunk the employees were last saturday night. They could use a professionalism workshop
Best playland in the Barrie area, the food is usually fresh, but the service (particularly in the evenings) is slow
