Etobicoke Gymnastics Club

My daughter was going to Etobicoke Gymnastics for 2 and a half years. Evaluation criteria and process is extremely unfair: time after time kids who just joined this semester are getting medals, awards and ribbons, yes all my daughter gets is "she will get it next time". You know, guys, it's been too many of your "next time". She, my daughter, is so much into athletic sports and is better in any regard than any of the newcomers - she was crying to days after not getting anything at the end of each semester, but she is also a fighter so she doesn't give up easily, and every time she tries to recover from the blow and concentrate on the sport itself, she just practice more and harder and longer. But... every time it comes to evaluation at the end of the semester, Etobicoke Gymnastics instructors are not looking at the performance of a kid, and still the awards are going to anyone but her, on what grounds I cannot guess. Enough is enough, we are dropping this terrible place and want other parents to be aware.

Etobicoke gymnastics: very disappointing place, they use to be good few years back, now it is nothing more but money grab.

They do not stand by their own rules and are very arrogant, EG do not want to resolve any issues in person. Despite registering my daughter as first in line, her place was given to someone ales and we were told: ”We do Not know what happened” Kid was crying entire Christmas because there was no place for her. I contacted Owner but he didn't even bother to respond, absolutely unacceptable. There is one older group that does learn a little, all others are just to support the place financially. Instructors are 15 year old girls without any coaching experience, I have never see them showing kids anything, not a simple back flip. Place is a joke.

Etobicoke gymnastics is dirty and smells like dirty tube socks, many parents complained about the smell without results, kids are bored and not allowed to do many tasks that one would expect kid to learn in gymnastics classes. Very bad experience. They have “temporary” location now for last 1.5 year that doesn't have obvious gymnastic equipment. We have now moved our daughter to different place and she just loves it. It was wasted 1.5 year, change is good, and there is tons of competition around with much better standard and much better stuff.
