I took driving lessons with a Greek lady named Tula at Peter's Driving School. Amid everything, I enjoyed my time in car with Tula (I did not do any in-class session because I came from the Caribbean with driving skills. I took lessons to learn the ropes and get experience driving in Canada). Tula did very excellently in helping me to get Canadian driving experience. Big up to the max, Tula. I couldn't tell the last time I saw you. Thanks for the training. I would like to give you a call someday but I do not know how to contact you. God bless and be with you, anyway. Keep faith and believe in Jesus Christ and pray to God, in Jesus' name. May God bless you always, Tula. Stay blessed!

The guy who took your money is now running Leaside Driving School. Go to them to get your refund. The owner at Leaside was a partner at Peter Driving School. Go and find out for yourself. Beware, they are scammers and will do everything possible to deny this claim. Criminals!

I went to this school recently, and paid $407, but I did not get the services I paid for someone left the country with all the money. The driving instructors were protesting and not teaching any students classroom or car lessons as they were not getting paid. I then contacted the MTO, and found out about Leaside Driving Academy. I called the gentleman there then told him about my situation, and he was very kind and offered to give me the services for the minimum amount and he told me he won't make any profit from me. I think that is the best solution call Leaside Driving Academy, they will help you as they are helping me. And I heard they are taking over Peters Driving Academy.

I would give this place a 0 star rating! I paid $407 for my driving lessons and when I went to class today the drivers came in and stopped the lessons because they haven't been getting paid for months. The owner of the school apparently left the country so I am stuck with no money back from the administration and no service provided!
Its a big scam, do not even consider signing up for this school!

Personally, I wouldn't give them any stars. They cannot teach and they are really rude and pushy. When you complete the course the driver is suppose to call you and they never do. I've waited for a year to get my driving done and I've only had 4 hours due to the driver always cancelling on me. And when I ask for another driver, they say they can't do it because they are all too busy or they're not in my area. It's a bad place to get it done and I would advise to go anywhere else but here. No stars for them

They took my money then told the class that they could teach anybody to drive except women. They also told me that I needed a friend or family member to actually teach me how to drive.

Never learned to drive, never got my licence.

Call the Ontario Ministry Of Transportation - Michelina 416-235-4804
and make a complaint and you will get your money back
In addition call the Toronto Licensing Municipal Office Mr. Mucha at 416-392-3084 make a complaint and you will get your money back
This school is a fake school operating under a new name because their original licences have been revoked and cancelled by the government

This HONESTY and HONEST123 is the same guy and is from a competing driving school (who shall remain unnamed for the moment) who is obviously trying to divert business from the new Peter's (under new management). Please engage in fair business practice. Customers have the right to come in, look around and if they like what they see, register with Peter's. If during their course they are displeased with their education, we only ask that they first try to resolve with management, failing that we encourage them to contact the MTO.

dumbo this is not diversion
this is all about prevention from a BIG ripoff
the so-called new Peter's is the same old owner with a new dummy operating under new management
explain how come telephone calls are being answered at Peter's residence with his wife answering the phone

all the positive reviews here are posted by Peter himself

My daughter took the course at the Markham location. The instructor would go get food for himself during the lesson and waste her lessons. He would give her 2 hour lessons instead of one hour without asking. After we said no to 2 hour lessons he would trick her and do it anyway. At the end she did not know how to drive at all and they wanted to book her to get her licence. We took her to another school for more lessons and paid more money. Peter's wants you to fail so u can keep going there. We complained but no one listened or cared. I am warning everyone!!!!

The thing I liked the most about this course was that our teacher played videos in which showed us the reality of faulty driving and the consequences of bad decisions which results into accidents. I really like the instructor because he is very humourous and made it more interesting and fun to learn. Despite know the basics from the being the passenger in my parent's car, I learned a lot of material that I didn't know. For an example, know the procedure after a collision, driving in different conditions and the improtance of knowing the rule and regulations. Overall I very much enjoyed this course

This so called new school is the same old one operating under a new name to avoid Government detection.
Telephone calls are forwarded to his home number and answered by his wife and family.
Why are they using old comments before December 2012.
For complaints call MTO 416-235-5540.
Also City of Toronto,Licensing 416-392-3113.
All the good comments are posted by the scam artist Peter himself.

choose a good driving school with experience, expertise, knowledge and training
stay away from driving schools that have instructors
talk on the cellphone when teaching you
pick up and drop off other students when your are driving
go shopping when your are learning
don't let the instructor take you out of Toronto for a drving test or they will charge you $200-$300 more with no guarantee of passing the test

I am currently going to the Warden location, it's a fun atmoshpere, everyone in the class is currently enjoying themselves. Marvin Fraser is a great teacher, and a funny guy. I would reccomend this school, its also at a reasonable price.

It’s better for you to find another teacher. I’m driving for 30 years but new in Canada and had to do the G. I call peter’s school and they gave me Eysand. I’m not sure this is the correct spelling. Anyway he changed the lesson’s time a few times, and was extremely late to the lesson (by 1.5 hours…). In the lesson he was rude and filled up the gas tank during it, while he did this he didnt understand how to get gas without hitting the pump… Finally he charge me 50CAD an hour because he said he took risk to teach me at the test area. (1 hour should cost 35) Highly not recommended!!

The biggest thing I took away from my time at the academy was how to be defensive about my driving.

For example, when speaking with a police officer: "Officer, please provide a concrete example of an action you witnessed that you would characterize as 'careless driving'".

And to a friend in the car with me: "I am not straddling the lane, I am merely making a prolonged and extra-cautious lane change".

And to other drivers on the road: "I'm an excellent driver, despite your assertion to the contrary - and please refrain from making rude hand gestures towards me that I would argue have nothing to do with my driving ability".

I would say the courses offered here should be mandatory, particularly if you are not clever.

I am taking a week course at the Pickering Office with Peter as my teacher. He is really funny and can keep a teen audience. Has insulting comments, but if you can see that he's joking, it is entertaining. He knows his stuff. Never a dull moment. He talks a lot, and knows everything, especially about driving. If you are a teen and want to learn but also have a crazy experience you will never forget, go to Peters!

Really enjoyed Omar's in car instruction.
Passing the road test was easy and the class dropped my insurance by half, but classes were a little crowed some nights.
Comment by honest123 on Feb 04, 2013
no way your insurance is dropped by half
name the agent, address and phone number along with the insurance company name
