Genghis Khan Mongolian Grill, North York Reviews (2)
We just came back from dinner and it is disappointing in everyway. 1st the food selection, just few and it is not fresh and not hot and dessert fruit section just pineapple and strawberry. And most of all they forced me to leave a tip very rudely. worst dining experience and not worth the money.
I suggest do not go there, you will be disappointed.

This place definably has everything needed to hang out with friends and eat a large meal. As far as all you eat buffets go, this has got to be one of my new favorites. The quality of almost every item I has was excellent and the whole concept was great.
You go up to the buffet of raw ingredients, from meat to water chestnuts, and load up your bowl. I mean really load it up because once they cook it it shrinks about 30-40%. Then you can add one of many sauces (watch out for the hot ones) and they will cook it right in front of you on a round grill that must by 6-8 feat wide.
Its great fun to watch and is much more entertaining than somewhere like Mandarin.

Love this place - what a great selection of stuff! It was a bit pricey though - but worth it.
it's like a mongolian marche, except i hope its not as expensive
there is a place called Fire and Ice right downtown (2 locations, actually) and they have a similar style setup. They aren't Mongolian, but they have the raw buffet, then the big centre grill where they cook your dinner. Also they only hire really, really sexy waiters! Woo!
There is a Fire and Ice location just north of the city. I'm not sure if its in Richmond Hill or Thornhill, but its not to far.
If you ever get a craving that only Fire and Ice can cure you should give it a search.

I had no idea, will have to check it out, thanks for the tip!
